The study was conducted over the period from 2019 to 2024 to measure progress in achieving goals related to the knowledge-based economy. The study concluded that reliance on knowledge economics enhances organizational efficiency and reduces resource wastage, while also showing a significant increase in government spending on education and health by 40% and 41.6%, respectively. The findings indicated that modern technology plays a crucial role in improving organizational behavior towards transparency and innovation. The study recommended strengthening technological infrastructure, developing specialized training programs to enhance employee skills, and building an organizational culture supportive of knowledge economics in alignment with Oman Vision 2040. It also emphasized the importance of fostering collaboration between sectors to achieve sustainable development and support digital transformation. Furthermore, the study advised other ministries and service institutions in the Sultanate to adopt similar models to promote knowledge economics through investment in technology and human capital development, ensuring integration and sustainable development in accordance with Oman Vision 2040. Additionally, it encouraged institutions to enhance collaboration and share expertise to ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet the aspirations of Omani society.
