The study aimed to analyze the impact of implementing e-governance on the efficiency of the services sector in the Sultanate of Oman, focusing on how these practices contribute to achieving the goals of Oman Vision 2040. The study concluded that e-governance significantly enhances service efficiency by reducing bureaucracy and increasing transparency, as the number of electronic government services increased from 20 services in 2015 to an expected 150 services in 2024. Additionally, the results showed a noticeable improvement in the percentage of citizens benefiting from e-services, rising from 30% to 90% during the same period. The application of e-governance in the Ministry of Health improved the quality of healthcare services and reduced waiting times, while in the Ministry of Education, it enhanced the management of educational resources and strengthened communication between schools and parents. In the Ministry of Transport and Communications, e-governance accelerated transactions such as license renewals, and in Muscat Municipality, it improved the quality of municipal services and increased citizen satisfaction. The study recommended enhancing digital infrastructure, developing integrated electronic systems, and increasing human resource training to ensure the continuity of e-governance implementation and support the achievement of Oman Vision 2040 goals.
